Ibogaine Works

A Safer Path to Psychedelic Treatment

Why Ibogaine Works?

THE GAP

People are turning to underground ibogaine treatment to escape addiction.

Without cardiac screening, medication review, or aftercare, that choice can be fatal.

Ibogaine Works exists to close that safety gap.

What we do

Harm Reduction & Public Education

Ibogaine Works Inc. is incorporated to lead through advocacy, participant-based direct action, and the democratization of life-saving information.

We are currently curating a Community Safety Compendium—a comprehensive digital archive of historical data, peer-reviewed research, and established safety protocols regarding iboga, psilocybin, and other natural psychedelics.

By centralizing global knowledge on contraindications, physiological safety markers, and traditional use, we empower individuals to make informed choices and replace institutional indifference with community-led harm reduction.

“Pre-Flight” Safety & Peer Education

Our Core Focus:

  • Safety Literacy: We provide evidence-based information on cardiac and physiological safety protocols, including how to read EKG and liver panel requirements.
  • Harm Reduction: We review common contraindications and drug-drug interactions to help you mitigate potential risks.
  • Ancestral & Modern Context: We offer educational background on the history, traditional uses, and modern advocacy surrounding these plants.
  • Peer Support: Connect with experienced organizers and advocates who provide non-judgmental “intention-setting” and preparation tools.

Health History Preparation & Safety Literacy

Participants can use our proprietary Safety Checklist to organize their health history. Our team provides educational feedback to help you identify standard safety markers often required by medical providers, empowering you to have a more informed conversation with your doctor about your options.”

Community Support & Safety Observation

We provide peer-based safety observation to promote overdose prevention and immediate harm reduction during sensitive transitions. Post-experience, we offer community integration circles and family peer support groups to help build the social connectivity and long-term stability that a wellness journey requires.

Professional Advocacy & Resource Sharing

Ibogaine Works provides in-service workshops and educational seminars for medical and social service professionals. We focus on raising awareness about ibogaine safety protocols, harm reduction strategies, and the evolving legislative landscape in New York

Our Safety-First Mandate

Whether navigating challenges with opioids, stimulants, alcohol, or other substances, we provide peer-led support, radical education, and life-saving resources without judgment. We meet people exactly where they are—not where the system thinks they should be. By centering the lived experience of our community, we replace institutional neglect with a proactive, safety-first framework for healing.

Advocacy:
From Silence to Action

The Crisis of Indifference We refuse to stand by while 3,000 New Yorkers die every year from preventable overdoses. History has taught us that indifference equals death. Just as direct action and relentless advocacy broke the silence of the HIV/AIDS crisis, Ibogaine Works Inc. (IWI) applies those same battle-tested tactics to end the overdose epidemic. We don’t just ask for change; we demand the right to heal.
